The Twits Book Review. The book follows the twits, a horrible couple, who are not only cruel to those around them but to themselves. They like nothing more than playing wicked tricks on one another.
They both got the shrinks for real because the monkey family and the roly poly bird made one room of their house upside down. It’s typical of dahl’s writing, there’s fun and humour but with an underlying serious aspect designed to remind the reader of the importance of morality. At last the birds and monkeys do in the twits with an ingenious punishment that fits their crimes.
