The Shadow Book Review. It was certainly.interesting to dive into the grishaverse again. Then the book slows down.

~ janel (keeper of pages) this year babbling book club aims to read the world, and i decided to join them [fictionally] in spain to read the shadow of the wind. The first part of the book starts out with a bang, which was awesome, and we find out the main character has a hidden power. Like the expert strike of a reflex hammer, it hits precisely the right spot.

The plot moves along quite steadily, not fast enough to give me whiplash, like a lot of ya fantasy i’ve read, but not slow enough that i was ever bored. The shadow lines by amitav ghosh. Seraphina is one of these, part girl,… Shadow and bone is a decent book.
