The Lucky One Book Review. I have loud music playing in my ears to block out all the kids on the bus who talk about who knows what. Definitely not as perfect as ‘a walk to remember’ or ‘the notebook’ but i could not find anything that i did not like while reading the lucky one.

His best friend, victor, seems to have an explanation for his good. A converging dual time line narrative (one of my favourite storytelling structures) in the voice of lucky, a woman who grew up as her father’s “business” partner, on the road, often on the run, and wondering about her origin story as her father has always been closed. She kept a blog during her research of the book, and if the fact that this book is based on true events captivated you as it did me, i highly recommend you take a look! Because there is literally nothing i disliked about the book.
