Bilbo baggins is a hobbit who lives in a large, comfortable underground house in the shire and has no interest in adventures. Bilbo was surprised when gandalf suddenly visited bilbo’s home and invited him on a great adventure. Gandalf, who is a known wizard, appears and startles him.
The novel was published in 1937 and earned great critical acclaim, including a nomination for a carnegie medal and an award from the new york herald tribune for juvenile fiction.
In the hole of ground, there is a hobbit named bilbo baggins who lives a very comfortable, peaceful life until he meets a great wizard named gandalf.
