The general's daughter is just offensively bad and there is nothing in the world that could possibly redeem it. The general’s daughter, nelson demille it’s always a pleasure to find a nelson demille in the charity bookshop, and this one was excellent. As with the vast majority of his ‘older’ work (i am not a fan of the latest 'panther' book, for instance), the general’s daughter builds a very detailed plot but still manages to maintain a fast pace throughout.
The film is so precise in its dialogue, so intelligent in its story, so tense in its confrontations, and so brutal in its subject matter that this can only be described as one of the years most intriguing movies.
If this had been a documentary, or even a fiction film with serious intentions, i would have accepted it. No racist, discriminatory, vulgar or threatening language will be.
