Staples Book Binding Tape. Staple the pages together along the binding edge about a half inch from the edge. Now cut a piece of duct tape about an inch longer than your book.
Use on books, magazines, pamphlets, record album jackets and more. The tape is used mainly to hide staples or glue on the side of the book. Tape binding mainly uses for construction drawings, collating all pages together.
For a tape and staple book, the collated text block has separate front and back covers applied.
The tape comes in various widths and colours and gives an aesthetically pleasing and neat look to bound book blocks that do not have covers. Excellent for repairing, reinforcing, protecting and covering bound edges and surfaces. Although the book cloth is glued on the front side, you need to first put linen tape on the backside. The following three binding methods are not offered at amp, but we will go over them briefly.
