Still, in his latest novel, the southern book club’s guide to slaying vampires, those that might not normally gravitate to the supernatural or macabre, will find this book hard to put down. It will make you laugh, and it will make you cringe.
Maybe it’s because i’m a southerner, but i am drawn to books set in this region of the united states which primed me to enjoy “the southern book club’s guide to slaying vampires”.
It's an easy read and i think it's less about vampires and more about a late 1980s/ 1990s version of the stepford wives but with a satisfying ending. The southern book club’s guide to slaying vampires follows patricia campbell, a 90s housewife and mother of two who craves excitement in her life. Codega is an avid reader, writer, and fan. It was very much not that.
