Reading Counts Books 2nd Grade. There are some big changes to the reading incentive program at birch creek this year. They are color coded by reading level.
If you choose the browse book expert online, you have the option to choose books by grade level, guided reading level, lexile, topic, etc. A student receives his or her lexile measure from one of two ways: Is my book reading counts?

While it is only one measure of a child’s reading ability, it is helpful in pinpointing strengths and weaknesses in students’ reading.
