This week i was again asked about the history of the prayer, and i saw some incorrect stories circulating. Let us be still in the presence of god. Open our eyes to the wonders of creation and teach us to see all things for good, to the honor of your glorious name; Tend the sick, lord christ, give rest to the weary, bless the dying, soothe the suffering, shield the joyous, and all for your love’s sake.
