Rupi kaur’s milk and honey has sold well over 1 million copies, which is incredibly impressive, considering 1) it was her debut, and 2) it’s a poetry collection. Kaur’s book consists of poems about the struggles of womanhood and her own personal experiences of love and heartbreak. One afternoon i was shopping at the local walmart store for some household items.

Everyone was so much intrigued by this and talked about it all the time. The hurting, the loving, the breaking, and the healing. These days, i don’t read poetry very often. This book is a very easy read which makes it easy to understand fully and be able to relate to you somehow.
