The title, never, hints that the story is a new departure for follett. The evening and the morning by ken follett is an excellent historical fiction and addition to the kingsbridge series. In 1989 the pillars of the earth was published, and has since become ken’s most successful novel.
Anything ken follett writes is a masterpiece.
