High Fidelity Book Review. High fidelity by nick hornby (book review) 14th may 2020 no comments. The movie (though americanized) holds pretty close to the book, and it’s almost impossible for my to see those characters as anyone else but cusak, black and cusak.
High fidelity is about people, men and women in the middle, in a muddle, people so instantly recognisable you could hum them. Their screenplay, some of it taken directly from the novel's pages, shares the main character's musical passions but has enough perspective to recognize rob's pop fanaticism as a sign of his arrested emotional development. High fidelity is an equal triumph for mr.
High fidelity is a funny book, though at times not enjoyable.
Bestselling british author and journalist nick hornby published high fidelity in 1995. It has sold over a million copies and was later adapted into a feature film in 2000, a broadway musical in 2006 and a tv series in 2020. That fact alone gives the daughter credibility, right? I quite liked much of it.
