Singer’s most famous work was his new edition and english translation of the authorized daily prayer book (published in 1890), a work which has gone through many large editions and which has probably been the most popular (both with jews and christians) of any book published by an english jew. King izdagerd was the grandson of king izdagerd the first who honored the torah (see zevachim 19a) and provided the jewish people with a golden. It was first published by the hebrew publishing company in 1949. The siddur was printed in thousands of versions throughout centuries.
