Based on the nonfiction book of the same name and the battle of mogadishu, ridley scott captures the terrifying chaos of war and the complexities of military involvement. The first 45 minutes or so sets up the context, introduces the officers and soldiers, outlines their mission, and then the next 90 minutes are. He was curled into a seat between two helicopter crew chiefs, the knees of his long legs up to his shoulders. It's an unforgettable, exhausting and purposely unpleasant experience.
